Masterly sculpture founded in a hyper-realistic response to animal forms blended with varying degrees of expressive interpretation.
Polish artist Andrzej Szymczyk has based his most recent collection on his diving expeditions to Madagascar’s coral reef, and it symbolises his reverence, fascination and dedication towards protecting the natural world, while at the same time reminding us of both its fragility and its necessity. Andrzej has exhibited and sold his work in Poland and Germany and in recent years has established a strong reputation in the UK. A member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists, he is now based at Bow Arts in London.

Andrzej Szymczyk's preferred medium is to sculpt in natural clay and then he casts the work in bronze. He creates the patina of each sculpture with a process that requires constant focus, precision and attention to each meticulous step.
