MIXED MEDIA

In the creation of these works the original composition is digitally modified to alter the position of a number of figures, it is then printed onto a board which Alan has prepared with his ‘colour camouflage’ background. He then continues the process of carefully hand-stencilling the figures one by one and hand-paints details such as faces, accessories and shadows rendering each piece a unique original work. Each work is finished with a multi-layer varnish.
