Born in Paris in 1960, Patrick grew up in a family that made him receptive to art at an early age. He acquired a passion for cinema and the moving image from his mother, and inherited the inventive spirit from his father, who was also the first to introduce to him the techniques of kinetic art. This early cultural initiation was to prove pivotal for his future artistic development and still informs the ethos behind his work today.
Each piece evokes different emotions from every viewer but resonates with all on a personal level. His pieces are both contemplative and visceral, juxtaposing vibrant colours with black and white to elicit multiple emotions and potent reactions.
